For over fifteen years I’ve worked as a magazine journalist, non-fiction author, copywriter, blogger and keynote speaker. While I write about diverse topics, my specialties include education, health, parenting and nonprofit organizations.
With a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and a teaching degree in English and Special Education, I’ve honed skills in researching, teaching, and facilitating workshops.
As a trained educator, I have taught corporate communications, presentation skills and business writing to adult learners. As well, I speak about life balance and parenting at North American conferences.
When not writing or public speaking, I’m an active volunteer for organizations such as Autism Ontario. I’m a member of the Professional Writers Association of Canada and past president of the Guelph Chapter.
